History: To be honest, Crux doesn't remember his father. The stallion died only days after his son was born. His mother, it seemed, was a mare with a weak constitution. They had no herd, so she had no one to help her in her grief. They traveled around, but Crux never really knew his mother; she was a shell of her former self, simply going through the motions. Not long after he was weaned, his mother fell ill. They kept moving, but she grew sicker and sicker. Finally, she died. Crux didn't feel true grief at her passing; she had never truly been a mother. He was excited, almost, to be let out into the world. Now he's just searching for a home.
