No New Posts Odina Mountain

Odina Mountain is the tallest mountain in all of Hilzaria and can be seen from almost any territory. It is not a wholly dangerous climb, but during the winter, the temperatures drop and blizzards are common the higher the altitude. Avalanches are also possible in the winter where rock and mud slides occur in the summer.

No New Posts Morath Cliffs - 1 Viewing

The cliffs are very steep and rough, but their view is one of the best in all of Hilzaria. Miles of the terrain is visible from this point, but get too close to the edge and you're as good as dead. These cliffs come directly off the tallest mountain in Hilzaria. They're rather easy to get to, but still have their dangers. These cliffs are also the favorite hunting spot for the golden eagles that live in the mountains. Horses that come for the view must constantly be vigilant.

No New Posts Visar Gorge

Visar Gorge is the stronghold of the mountains, where the herd gathers. It was carved by a long-dried up river and is hidden between two mountains. There are a few paths down into it, but only one really safe one for anyone. The terrain is mostly loose dirt, but there are a few sparse areas of grass and even fewer small trees.

Board Description
Artegal Peaks
The Artegal Peaks are the large mountain range that take up almost all of the western side of Hilzaria. The mountains were owned by a great (in both size and manners) stallion by the name of Trahern, who ruled with confidence and a gentle voice. Most mountain sides are steep, rocky, and dangerous but there are also quite a few that are more gradual and safer to climb. The valleys are grassy and scattered with trees and small rivers. Mostly this seems like one of the more gentle, peaceful territories, however there is a silent killer located here that has taken the lives of so many horses, both young and old: Golden Eagles. They have been known to pick up foals and drop them off cliffs or attack fully grown horses with talons and beaks when no foals are available. Horses of the Peaks must be constantly vigilant for any sound of wings on the wind.
