No New Posts Kedem River

The Kedem River is a large river that flows through a most of Hilzaria. However, in Kireg it is almost always frozen except in the dead of summer, but then it is even more dangerous, full of rapids and rocks that could easily sweep away any horse. Once summer is over, however, the river begins to freeze once again and by late fall, the ice is thick enough to support any and all horses that set hoof on it.

No New Posts Vivec Springs

Thanks to underground volcanic vents, the Vivec Springs are the warmest area in all of Kireg. It is not an uncommon thing for wildlife to gather here on the harshest of winter days. There are numerous springs of varying sizes and depths if a horse just wants to dip their ankles or go up to their necks. However, all of the co-mingling can lead to conflict among species and injuries or death can occur.

No New Posts Iduna Fjord

Iduna Fjord was created by a section of the Kidem river and has tall, jagged cliffs on either side. This is where the stronghold of the king of Kireg is located. After a treacherous climb down the bluffs, the terrain is much less treacherous and more bearable, though still cold. There is one path that leads to this area, but it is not meant for those of faint heart or that do not trust their hooves.

Board Description
Kireg
Kireg is the name of the northernmost territory in Hilzaria and is also the coldest. It belonged to the late king Belden who was a very proud stallion that expected nothing less than perfection. It is an expansive tundra-like climate with hardly any trees and the few trees that survive here are large and coniferous. At the southern border with Renshaw Copse, there is a denser forest of conifers that mesh slightly with the redwoods of the main forest, but borders are clearly drawn between the two territories. Winter is the harshest season in this territory and it is difficult for any large herd to survive the full season. However, the summers are much more wirth it to live here as it is cooler than the other territories and much more bearable compared to other territories' summers.
