Saving Me, Saving You

So I have Running Like Quicksilver, a big 17.2 draught-type 2 year old colt who currently lives in the badlands having recently left his natal herd to explore the world. He’s a friendly, sweet kinda’ guy, not at all your typical, aggressive, womanising male at all, but he’s a bit lonely in the badlands; he’s used to having other horses around him all the time.
Anyway, enough ramble. I had an idea for a sort of mini-plot, or at least the beginning of one: Silver is simply wandering through the badlands one day when he comes across another male, preferably a colt or young stallion but age isn’t that important, who’s in trouble (perhaps being attacked by wolves or a gang of rogue horses or something) and Silver, being the kind soul that he is, helps the other stallion out. The two go their separate ways. Later on, Silver gets into trouble himself, and the other stallion just happens to be in the area and returns the favour. A bond of mutual gratitude is formed, which later becomes friendship, and the two take the ‘safety in numbers’ approach and stick together.

I was thinking that afterwards the two could try to find some mares and try to claim a territory, but that’s all speculative. They may well decide to split after a while.

Anyway, I’m open to further suggestions and ideas and what have you, just let me know.

Buut, my stallion Muzik's three and a bachelor. If you want, we could do that plot together, it sounds pretty fun. :3
I'm thinking about keeping Muzik a bachelor forever though, but they could still be friends after the initial start of the friendship, like a long-distance, drop-in-time-to-time kind of thing.

Anyway, that's cool, the two will be acquaintances now, which will probably be better than Silver just dropping in to save Muzik with no introduction. 8P
And the long-distance friend idea works for me just fine; they can just drop in on each other if one or the other needs help or just wants a chat. Silver's a pretty laid-back sorta' guy and wouldn't object to Muzik visiting him at his herd (if he does actually get one that is).

Haha, yeah that's true. We may as well form a herd for all the guys now, lol.
And awesome! Muzik's pretty laid-back too, so that friendship should work out great. :3
